​​​God Is Near Through His Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.  
John 1: 1

Many times we may feel like Paul who said I am compressed on every side.  In those moments when it seems like your breath is taken away.  You can’t sleep and it hurts too much to stay awake.  In those times when it seems like 24 hours of a day is too much to endure. When your hope seems gone and your pain is too great to bear, those are the moments the times and the days when the Lord is near. 
 
How is God near? God places himself within our reach through his word. God and His word are one. You cannot separate the presence of God from the word of God. When your faith seems low, remember faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Read the word. Speak the word. Read the word. Speak the word. Until you can see that your God is bigger than your situation.
 
No matter what it looks like now. No matter how you feel, what others may say there is always hope.  Have hope, trust God.  Believe that God is with you.  Know that God cares and that He can turn any situation around for your good.

In those moments when you feel broken, hurt, abandoned rejected. Remember these four things. Say them out loud. Repeat them again and again. They are not magical words, but are God’s truth and they are like medicine to your soul.  “God is with me.  God loves me.  God will never leave me.  God will work everything out for me.”
